Three Sea Cairns
I know, you are probably getting tired of hearing about my love affair with rock stacking. But I just can’t help myself. It is an abiding love. Over the past few years I’ve gotten quite a collection of them. My goal is to talk about them often enough that if you ever encounter one in the wild, you will think of me. Is that working yet?

The original trifecta stacks. Made with Thayne Forbes in Mercur, Utah.

Created by Thayne, Quinn and Justin on the southern banks of the icy Utah Lake. (2012)

good fun stuff. “me too”. i used to make wombats, but about 2 years ago i started trying to make inuk-thingies (inukshuk, inuksuits, innunguaq). and you “get around” apparently. where’s Ophir?
Ophir is out in the desert by Dugway, Utah. What is a wombat?
shoot: there’s also an Ophir (i thinkitz called “old ophir”) not far out of Telluride. a wombat is one of those weird 4th-world animals from australia — kinda like a koala but less cuddly.
