Froggie’s Candied Pecans
1 C dark corn syrup
1/2 c brown sugar
2 Tbsp cinnamon
3 c pecan halves
Preheat oven to 325. Mix corn syrup, brown sugar and cinnamon in a microwaveable bowl. Heat in microwave for about 20-30 seconds until the corn syrup is warm and more like liquid. Fold pecan halves into syrup and stir til covered. Spray Pam on bottom of cookie sheet and dump pecans on, spreading out to a single layer. Bake for 25 minutes. The syrup will spread out and be bubbly. Remove pan from oven. Use a fork to lift the pecan and place them on wax paper. Move quickly before the syrup hardens. Allow to cool completely. That’s it! You can refrigerate or freeze to use in your favorite dessert dishes. Or you can eat them just plain which is what happens at my house.
