Navajo Fry Bread
2 c flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 c warm water
1 c nonfat dry milk
1 tsp salt
Sift all dry ingredients together. Add water gradually. Mix and knead until dough is soft and not sticky . Shape into 2 inch balls. Flatten. Deep fat fry. Serve with butter/honey, or use as base for Navajo tacos, topping the bread with chili, cheese, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, sour cream.
