1 Frying chicken, cut in pieces
½ c butter
¾ c uncooked rice
¼ c chopped white onion
½ green pepper chopped
½ c chopped celery
1 3 oz can mushrooms
1 can cream mushroom soup
1 can cream chicken soup
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Heat ¼ c butter in frying pan. Brown chicken on both sides, sprinkling salt, pepper, parsley on each side. Remove chicken and place in baking pan. Add remaining ¼ c butter into frying pan and add onion, green pepper, mushrooms, celery and rice. Saute until onion is somewhat translucent and then add cream soups and bring to simmer, stirring constantly. Pour over chicken in baking pan. Cover with foil and allow to cook 1 ½ hours.
