Pardon me with all of the new picture posts. I am having lots of fun gathering the thousands of pictures that currently clutter my home and computer and photobucket account. I love to take pictures, and can almost always be found with my digital in my purse and will stop just about anywhere, anyplace, to get a snapshot of whatever I think may be particularly picturesque at the time.
I think this particular trait of mine comes from my mom, who passed away in August 2006. She had an artist’s heart and although she did not really develop these skills, you could often find her pointing out particular angles or colors of a scene or sound that had a certain Monet quality to it. I can remember once when my mom was stopped by the police because she had driven through a crosswalk in front of the school. She pleaded with the cop that she had just been paying too much attention to the lovely flock of birds that had been flying overhead at the time and hadn’t noticed the crosswalk. I don’t think he gave her a ticket.
I believe my little sister Cheryl has most developed this trait out of my family.
